I had a dream last night.

I dreampt that I hiked up Machu Pichu.

It was amazing.

I remembered my whole dream From last night. Recorded it all. My mind makes the weirdest associations.

Dream Update

Ever since I started recording my dreams, mid-dream I tell myself

Okay, when I wake up, I will write this, this and that.

Then I wake up, and remember nothing, except that I told myself that.

WEIRD.

Crazy Dreams Left & Right.

Oh mY. I started a dream journal to record my dreams. Maybe I’ll gain some insight into something my subconscious is trying to tell me.

Or maybe, I’ll realize it’s all completely random…

Dreams

I have never made it a point to keep track of my dreams. But recently with the abundant amount of vivid dreams I’ve been having, I’ve decided to start keeping track of them.

Does anyone else do this? And has anyone experienced lucid dreaming?

“Where to meet the man or woman of your dreams”

Have you ever read those dumb articles on Yahoo’s homepage about dating and relationships? I am completely guilty of reading every single one posted. And it’s funny because even though I know they are completely superficial and offer no real advice or knowledge, I still read them. I will admit they are pretty good at creating catchy titles. Recently I read one about where to find good potential partners. The title was something like “Where to meet the man or woman of your dreams”. As per usual it said something along the lines of:

1. church

2. family and friends

3. E-harmony (because, of course, it was endorsed by them)

But something I have read over and over again is that you should meet a man while engaging in hobbies or activities that you are passionate about. Playing a sport, taking a dance class, and volunteering are great ways to meet a potential mate.

I have ALWAYS dismissed this as being true for me because a lot of my interests surround me with women.

Interestingly enough today I had my first of nine weekend training sessions for volunteering at a suicide prevention hotline. The training was very intense but surprisingly fun. And among the cool people I met, I met this really cool guy named D. D is pursuing his phD in clinical psychology (swoon), has traveled all over the world (swoon), and has a great sense of humor (double-swoon). Lastly I made a ridiculously corny and SUPER nerdy joke about an underdeveloped prefrontal cortex and he actually laughed. Done deal.

I just want to say that these cheesy articles MAY be on to something…
